The Black Rhadley Cabin
Designed to sit quietly within its surroundings, Black Rhadley is a warm, considered space with the wild Shropshire Hills just beyond the windows. Outside, sink into the wood-fired bath beneath open skies, light the fire as evening falls, cook outdoors or simply listen to the woodland settling around you. As darkness arrives, look up, this is a place of big skies, bright stars and very little to interrupt them.

Step outside and the landscape takes over. Soak beneath the stars with the unique views of the Stiperstones, sit around the fire as the woods grow dark, or simply take your morning coffee onto the deck and listen. With no Wi-Fi and no TV, there’s space here to walk, read, sleep, watch the weather and notice what’s happening around you, a few days lived at a different pace. No screens to distract, just nature.
Explore the Area
When you feel like venturing further, there’s plenty within easy reach. The amazing Stiperstones rocky tors. Or escape and wander the independent streets of Bishop’s Castle and Montgomery, spend a day in historic Ludlow, or head to Shrewsbury for food, culture and walks along the River Severn. Black Rhadley feels wonderfully tucked away, without being cut off, an easy escape from Birmingham and Manchester, with London around three hours away.
