A natural Escape
Tucked away on the edge of woodland in the Shropshire Hills, Black Rhadley is a secluded cabin for two, created for slowing down and leaving the everyday behind. Wake to views across the hills, follow trails straight from the door, soak in the outdoor wood-fired bath beneath open skies, or simply stay put and watch the landscape change through the picture window. With no Wi-Fi and no TV, days take on a slower rhythm here — more time outdoors, more time together, and space to properly reset.
The Black Rhadley Cabin
Designed to sit quietly within its surroundings, Black Rhadley is a warm, considered space with the wild Shropshire Hills just beyond the windows. Outside, sink into the wood-fired bath beneath open skies, light the fire as evening falls, cook outdoors or simply listen to the woodland settling around you. As darkness arrives, look up — this is a place of big skies, bright stars and very little to interrupt them.
Come back to the wild
Step outside and the landscape takes over. Soak beneath the stars with the rocky tors of the Stiperstones in view, sit around the fire as the woods grow dark, or simply take your morning coffee onto the deck and listen. With no Wi-Fi and no TV, there’s space here to walk, read, sleep, watch the weather and notice what’s happening around you — a few days lived at a different pace.
Explore the Area
When you feel like venturing further, there’s plenty within easy reach. Wander the independent streets of Bishop’s Castle and Montgomery, spend a day in historic Ludlow, or head to Shrewsbury for food, culture and walks along the River Severn. Black Rhadley feels wonderfully tucked away, without being cut off, an easy escape from Birmingham and Manchester, with London around three hours away.
Give the gift of relaxation.
Immerse yourself in nature with a wonderful stay in the Shropshire Hills, rest in a wonderfully wild place, switch off the everyday distractions.
