  • Towels, bed Linen, outdoor towels and throws and dressing gowns are provided.

  • The cabin is a 30 metre walk from the car parking, up a few gravel steps and along a woodland path. There is low level lighting at night.

  • There is a two burner hob, convection microwave with grill, kettle, toaster, Opal coffee machine, milk frother, cafetiere and tea pot. There is a selection of pots, pans and cooking utensils.

    Salt, Pepper and Olive Oil are provided.

    Outdoor there is a fire pit, round griddle and long griddle for firepit cooking, utensils. A small sink at the side of the cabin for outdoor washing of the outdoor cooking utensils.

  • At the moment there is no option to check-in early or check -out later.

  • Privacy of our guests is very important and the immersive nature of the place means it feels wild and remote. The cabin is set in a small woodland, it is near the owners house but private. It has access to walking trails directly from the cabin door, this may mean walkers can been seen occasionally. Communication with the owners is done via Whats App and text once guests are at the cabin they will not be disturbed.

  • Check in and out is contactless, using a lockbox. The lockbox code will be sent via the booking check-in email on the day of check in.

  • Its a good idea to bring clothing suitable for being out in nature, wellies, walking boots, waterproof coat, warm coat in colder months for exploring the unique area.

    Useful to bring slippers or flip flops for the fire pit area and walking to and from the cabin to the bath.

  • The cabin is fully heated, it has a sleeping nook, bathroom with large rainfall shower, sink and toilet. The kitchen is well equipped and has a small dishwasher, kitchen sink and breakfast bar. There is a dining area and seating area for lounging. There is large storage drawer under the bed and hooks for coats and hangers. There is a hairdryer and mirror.

  • The cabin has a selection of books and games and binoculars for bird spotting the red kites flying over or the woodpeckers in the trees.

    There is a seating area outside with a fire pit to soak up the atmosphere and enjoying the outdoors. The wood fired bath for woodland bathing and star gazing! We recommend walking across the Stiperstones and taking in the sunset views from Nipstone Rock. Maps and walking route guides in the cabin.

  • There is no Wifi at the cabin, the stay is all about digitally disconnecting to reconnect with nature, there is phone signal for most networks.

  • The nearest train stations are Craven Arms, Shrewsbury and Church Stretton which are within 40 minute taxi ride away. Shrewsbury has a bus connection to the Stiperstones Village, we are then a five minute taxi ride away or a 45 minute walk.

  • There is designated parking, which is lit up, sign posted at the top of the driveway.

    Access to the cabin is through a black gate and up the steps.

  • We have a two night minimum stay at all times. This may be changed to a three night minimum stay at weekends in the future, any changes and updates will be advertised on social media.

  • The wood fired bath is available all year round, however the water will take longer to heat in lower winter temperatures.

    Fires need to be fed/managed and not left unattended, the bath water can take up to 1 - 2 hours to heat.

    We supply a complementary box of kiln dried wood and kindling/fire starters and matches.

    We do reserve the right to ask guests not to use fires in very hot or windy weather. The wood around the woodland is not suitable for burning, the wood piles are for nature and to improve the biodiversity of the site and can damage the stove box in the bath.

  • Shrewsbury is within a thirty minute drive with great attractions and Ludlow is a forty five minute drive. There are small villages and town closer such as Church Stretton, Montgomery, Bishops Castle as well as farm shops and places to visit.

  • You will arrive to a welcome basket with local items, these will vary from stay to stay dependent on availability.

    A complimentary supply of Tea and Coffee, small semi skimmed milk and brown and white sugar are available.

    The cabin is self catering.

  • Support will be available to answer queries via Whats app only between 10.00am and 8;00pm.

    Any emergencies or issues with the cabin there is 24 hour service on site. Any personal health or fire emergency guests should always call 999 for emergency services and contact the management via the details provided.

  • The cabin stay cost is for two adults only, no events, gatherings or visits are permitted, this is enforced, any additional guests will be asked to leave.
